The scope of the present training course is to establish a reliable procedure for the proper training of hazmat experts in order to meet existing regulatory requirements, develop an educated workforce, improve safety, and minimize the potential negative impacts of the hazardous materials to the environment throughout the operational life of ships for which the SRR applies.
